The Advocate invited key stakeholders from across Latrobe to work together to develop an Action Plan that could assist in enabling systems change. More than 60 people attended, representing a range of service providers as well as individuals with an interest in seeing change.
The advocate presented the research and insights her office had gathered and asked those attending to reflect on how this information compared with their own experience of understanding the system.
Participants were then asked to consider what the solution might look like; What would need to be done to enable change? What barriers might be faced and how could these be addressed?
With these questions in mind participants were asked to prioritise their aspirations for the future. Together they identified the most important innovations for action.
